Challenge
Lenovo’s platform faced significant usability challenges, leading to decreased user engagement and task completion rates. To address these issues, I led a strategic UX audit and design optimization to enhance the user experience.
Process
Hypothesis
The objective was to identify and address usability challenges to improve user engagement and task completion rates. We hypothesized that by streamlining navigation and interaction patterns, we could enhance the overall user experience.
Results
The audit led to the identification of key usability issues, and the subsequent design optimizations resulted in a more intuitive and user-friendly interface. These improvements contributed to increased user satisfaction and engagement with Lenovo’s products.
One major challenge was the platform’s complex navigation, which confused users. To address this, we redesigned the navigation structure based on user feedback, resulting in a 15% increase in task completion rates.
Post-implementation, we observed a 15% increase in user task completion rates and a 30% reduction in cognitive load, leading to enhanced product adoption and engagement.
22%
Faster user task completion times after simplifying navigation paths and reducing friction in key interactions.
17%
Decrease in user errors by refining workflows and aligning interface patterns with user mental models.
12%
Growth in active user retention over 30 days, driven by design improvements that better matched user goals and business priorities.
